I know some people that are currently working on their PhD and Master thesis’s Focusing on RA. I’m quite sure that they would have been surprised as I was when I bumped into a PR saying that it is now possible to earn a “Bachelors of Internal Audit for Telecom Revenues” certificate in just 5 days! I must confess that I studied quite longer to obtain my Bachelor degree.
OK, to be fair the fact that it is a bachelor degree is neither mentioned by this PR, nor it is written by the organization granting the “diploma”, but it was clearly described as a bachelor certification (they even offer a Master certification).
I’m not that innocent and I’m aware of the importance of good marketing , and that publicity is not always rigorous, but just another step in the sale cycle. Anyway I can’t really understand what does it means - a bachelor/master certification. It might be a good course , I must say that I do not know anything about the quality of it, but one think I know for sure in 5 days you can’t obtain a Bachelor degree .
Speaking about RA training, there was an interesting post by Mike Willet from Telstra that recently appeared in Talk RA about RA training (I did not agree with all Mike’s opinions, but we had an interesting discussion).
I can highly recommend joining the TM Forum training program for RA, which I personally assisted by reviewing material, even though I apologize in advance for not giving you a Bachelor degree in RA in 5 days –you will still be able to learn a lot about RA best practices and the TM Forum recommendations in 3 days.
